Responsibilities:
Demand Gathering & Planning
Liaise with operational / technical teams in both Jakarta and Bali to understand requirements (specs, quantity, timeline).
Forecast procurement needs and plan procurement cycles.
Vendor Sourcing & Selection
Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors in Jakarta, Bali, or elsewhere to meet required quality, cost, lead times, and reliability.
Solicit quotations (RFQs), compare offers, assess vendor capability and risk.
Negotiation & Contracting
Negotiate price, delivery terms, payment terms, warranties, penalties.
Draft or review purchase orders (POs) / contracts; ensure legal / compliance review and management approval.
Coordination & Logistics
Coordinate procurement decisions made in Jakarta with Bali’s receiver / warehouse assistant to ensure correct specs and timely delivery.
Track and follow up on delivery schedules; manage import / transit / domestic shipping issues if any.
Quality Control & Goods Receipt
Ensure goods delivered meet the specifications in PO / contract.
Oversee inspection on receipt in Bali: quantity, condition, documentation.
Inventory & Warehouse Oversight
Collaborate with Bali assistant to manage inventory: stock levels, stock rotation, safety stock, prevent obsolescence.
Ensure warehouse standards: storage, labeling, clean & secure environment.
Cost Control & Efficiency Improvements
Identify cost-saving opportunities: bulk purchases, supplier consolidation, better delivery terms, alternative vendors.
Monitor market trends / material cost changes.
Vendor Performance & Relationship Management
Regularly evaluate vendor performance on delivery, quality, responsiveness.
Maintain good working relationships; handle vendor feedback, improvements or replacements.
Reporting & Compliance
Provide reports to management: spending, vendor performance, procurement status, cost variances, issues.
Ensure procurement processes comply with relevant regulations (import/export, taxes, environmental, safety) and company policy.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in procurement / purchasing / vendor management, ideally with some exposure to inter-location coordination (e.g. operations in different regions).
Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills (both in Bahasa Indonesia and English) — written & verbal.
Based in Jakarta or willing to be Jakarta-based; ability to travel / coordinate with Bali.
Familiarity with procurement tools / software / ERP & inventory systems.
High integrity, ethical conduct, ability to work to deadlines.
