Order Taking & Service
Greet visitors/tourists/boat guests in a friendly manner; take food and drink orders accurately.
Prepare and serve beverages and light food items according to established recipes / presentation / portion standards.
Ensure orders are delivered promptly, checking for quality and correctness.
Customer Experience & Upselling
Inform guests about menu options; suggest specials or add-on items (e.g. snacks, beverages).
Respond to guest questions about menu or ingredients; handle simple requests or modifications.
Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally; escalate when necessary.
Cleanliness, Hygiene & Safety
Maintain cleanliness of the Welcome Station area: counters, tables, chairs, service tools, floor.
Wash, sanitize, and store utensils, glassware, plates, cooking / serving equipment properly.
Follow hygiene procedures / food safety standards; ensure compliance with local regulations.
Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor stock of consumables (ingredients, cleaning supplies, disposables) and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
Assist with storage of perishable / non-perishable supplies; ensure proper storage conditions.
Preparation & Closing Activities
Perform set-up before service: layout of station, preparation of ingredients / beverages.
At end of shift: clean all equipment, dispose of trash properly, turn off / secure tools / machines.
Count remaining stock, note wastage or leftover items in shift report.
Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with other Marina / restaurant / kitchen staff for smooth hand-offs of orders or supply needs.
Communicate any issues with supply, equipment, or guest demand to supervisor promptly.
Keep records of sales / orders / issues / feedback as required.
Education: Minimum High School (or equivalent); prior experience in F&B is an advantage.
Language: Basic English ability (speaking / listening) preferred, especially to serve international guests.
Appearance: Neat, clean, presentable; professional demeanor.
Flexibility: Able to work shifts, including weekends / holidays; able to stand / move for extended periods.
Physical: Capable of carrying trays, cleaning, moving supplies, working outdoors / under open-air / waterfront conditions.
Attention to detail, cleanliness, speed, service orientation.
